      we are currently in Edinburgh. It is easy here for street performers, you simply show up, rent a rooom (before showing up hopefully) and sign up every morning to perform.

      the competition is a bit stiff, people who have been working their shows for years and years. but the audience is very open.

      The Fringe is three weeks long, apparantly to do performances inside its very difficult and a huge investment, most lose money and desperately search for audiences to fill up the spaces.
